Is a doctor’s prescription required to order online?

Yes. The province of British Columbia requires an original prescription faxed or mailed for certain medications. Over the counter medications, vitamins & supplements can be ordered online without a prescription.

Is the Pharmacist qualified in Canada?

Prescription orders are filled by Kama Health Pharmacy which is licensed by the College of Pharmacists of BC. The pharmacy manager is Charyl Gee Villar. Pharmacy practice issues may be reported directly to the College of Pharmacists of BC via their website.

What is the limit of medication I can buy?

A maximum of 3 months of each medication may be purchased provided that you have a valid prescription. If your prescription is for more than a 3-month supply, we can send refills as they become due.

How long is my prescription valid for?

BC issued prescriptions are valid for one year from the date of issue.

Do I need to have an account to order medication?

Yes, a free account must be set up to place an online order.

Can my spouse use my account to order?

No. The name of the account needs to match the name on the prescription for validation and dispensing of medications.
